National Parks

Click here for information relating to educational activities involving teachers and students in various National Park units throughout the United States. Students are assisting in biodiversity surveys of the parks by collecting specimens of myxomycetes as well as substrate samples to be sent to the University of Arkansas for laboratory isolation of dictyostelids and protostelids. Most of the parks in which they are working have little or no data on the slime molds present.
