Faculty and staff of the University of Arkansas welcomed area K-12 students and teachers of science, math and technology during University Days on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 16-17. Steve Stephenson presented three workshops on myxomycetes (plasmodial slime molds) with the assistance of graduate students Sally Edwards, Carlos Rojas, Adam Rollins and Katherine Winsett. Rod Nelson of the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith also helped with the workshops. Students learned about collecting and identifying slime molds.
