Faculty and staff of the University of Arkansas welcomed area K-12 students and teachers of science, math and technology during the annual University Days on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 14-15. On Friday, three workshops (entitled “Discover Slime Molds”) were presented by Adam Rollins, Katherine Winsett and George Nderitu. Students and their teachers learned about collecting and culturing slime molds. This year represented the third year that workshops on slime molds have been part of University Days.
