Dr. Satyendra (Raj) Rajguru is working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biological Sciences. He received his PhD in Agronomy in the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences of the University of Arkansas . His research interests are on determining the phylogenetic interrelationships among the different orders of myxomycetes. Raj is taking a multigenic approach, using EF-1a, HSP90, and ß-tubulin sequences to answer some basic questions relating to the origin and evolution of slime molds and also their placement in the tree of life.
