George Gatere Ndiritu

George received his BS degree in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University in Kenya and his MS in Ecological Marine Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Before coming to the University of Arkansas, he worked as a researcher at the National Museum of Kenya. George, who is interested in the taxonomy and ecology of all types of protists and not just slime molds, is currently a PhD candidate in the Environmental Dynamics Program at the University of Arkansas. His research seeks to establish whether there is a relationship between slime mold abundance and diversity and different land use regimes in a number of different regions of the world.
